The Roaring Rainbow — A concert for trans youth
2021 has seen the completely overwhelming number of legislative attacks on trans kids. Trans kids are already extremely vulnerable, and the passage of any of those bills into law — and just the publicity around them — is a direct attack on their joy, their lives, and their futures.
That’s where the Roaring Rainbow comes in. This online streaming event will be held Saturday, June 12th. The lineup is pretty darn amazing! Rebecca Sugar (creator or Steven Universe), The Doubleclicks, Crys Matthews, Jeffrey Marsh, Still Buffering, She/Her/Hers, SuperKnova, Sunday Comes Afterwards, Charlie Jane Anders, Annalee Newitz, Lindz Amer, and Charlie//Amáyá.
WHAT: Roaring Rainbow is a rockin’ all-ages online show with music and joy from LGBTQ+ performers and creators.
