Another study out of Amsterdam UMC hospital in the Netherlands adds to the mounting list of research affirming trans/nonbinary youth.

Out of 720 adolescents diagnosed with gender dysphoria and prescribed puberty blockers, 98% continued to use gender-affirming hormone care. And, researchers speculate that the 2% that did not continue likely stopped to due to factors like the cost of transition rather than regret.

This study comes at a time when gender-affirming care for youth has been become highly politicized by bad faith politicians feigning concern for trans youth. However, study after study confirms what we already know: that trans youth need love, affirming health care, and to be allowed a happy childhood like their peers.
