My son hasn’t dated since coming out to his then boyfriend and when he was still a girl. They broke up shortly after that but are still friends. That relationship was his first, and they dated for 2 years.

When he starts getting back out in dating someone should he be up front with that person right out of the gate about being trans or wait until they get to know each other a little better before disclosing that information? My son is worried and scared about being rejected for who he is.

I know there is someone out there for everyone at some point, but he still worries that there isn’t for him. He is still young only 18 years old.
