Hi all,

I am looking for books, TV shows, movies, etc to share with my 8 year old that depict Trans, non-binary and other LGBTQ characters. I’m not against a ‘lesson’ type of book/media that teaches things, but I’m specifically looking for things where LGBTQ characters (kids or adults) just exist as part of the story.

Most of the shows that come to mind for me are PG-13 or R rated, but I’m struggling to find more shows that are appropriate for an elementary schooler.
