My son saw a local walk-in doc this morning for a simple ear infection.  We live in Washington..his gender care team is at OHSU.  The doctor’s office this morning appeared to have access to ALL his medical records which led to some uncomfortable questions (with a medical student also in the room) about “what is gender dysphoria” and “why are you on testosterone?”.  Can someone explain to me the current status of medical records availability between Oregon and Washington state?  And is there a way to keep some of this private, particularly if it has nothing to do with treatment??
