Hey parents!

It occurred to me recently that I raised my kid thinking I had a boy, and there are probably things that I should let her know now that she’s living in the world as a woman. For example, she laughingly told me that she took at walk at 1 a.m. the other night. Is that really a good idea for anyone living in a big city? I told her to please stay aware of her surroundings and consider taking a friend next time.

Other things that have come up: closing her shades at night (again, probably applicable to everyone) and keeping her knees together when wearing a skirt. Have I covered everything? :p I wonder…
