Our 18 year old recently disclosed to us that she is struggling with gender dysphoria (3 1/2) months ago. We are following our child’s lead and not telling anyone which has been stressful and hard. I too am struggling with the news but trying to get informed and trying to wrap my head around everything. It looks like hormone therapy will be starting soon and now I have more anxiety as things get real. I’m trying to stay sane and positive for my child and would welcome any advice or words of wisdom.
