Our son, 22, recently transitioned to a woman and lives with us. She is pretty consumed with how she looks and spends many, many hours on her appearance, outfits, make up, nails etc. to look as feminine (and often sexy) as possible. (She looks great). Some of her outfits are pretty provocative and she is posting a lot on line (some of which may be on the explicit side) . She gets a lot of validation from this (people telling her she looks pretty, hot, etc). We are very supportive of her transition. We are wondering, though, if any other parents of young adult transwomen have seen a similar pattern as part of the transition process or if this is unusual.
