Hi,
My 7 year old shared how intense their experience of gender dysphoria is for the first time last night. They transitioned to female from AMAB at age 4. They’ve been assuming a more nonbinary identity for the last 8 months. They’re too young for the Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic. We talked about tucking, but they’ve tried that on their own and talked about how uncomfortable it is. They have been wearing Rubies compression underwear for a while. They really want their body to match how they feel on the inside. I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions of resources for kids this age.
I’m posting this in the medical/mental health forum too, in case it’s a better fit for that discussion forum.
Thanks!
