Affordable suite for 14 FTM?

Hello All!
I am getting married in June and my 14 year old son (FTM) will be in the wedding party. It’s an intimate affair  and he and I will be wearing suits. He’s 14 and growing like a weed, so I don’t want to spend a million dollars.
The problem is that nothing off the rack fits with his large hips and he is really sensitive in a clothes shopping environment. I can’t imagine having a tailor pawing all over him would be a very pleasant experience. I tried just ordering a bunch of off the rack suits and nothing seems to fit right.
Anybody have any ideas? I guess the obvious solution is to have a tailor come to the house to measure him in private and then by a fitted suit, but that’s gonna be at least $1000 for a suit he wears once.
Thanks everybody. I know this might seem like a trivial topic but it’s turned into a bit of a conundrum.
