Kid is 28, non-binary, Trans feminine and it’s been a rough year and a half. Kid says they love their catholic faith but can’t be Catholic anymore. I understand there are issues but I think this is a time to really dig deep into the TRUTH of the faith. So what can I do to make Catholicism more welcoming to the LGBTQ community? If not for my kid, then someone else’s?!! I promise you that being Trans and being Catholic are not mutually exclusive but I know we need to work on making that clear to all. Your thoughts are welcome! Thanks!
