My son (age 27) has been seeing Dr. Hatfield since he first started transitioning, but he’s just learned his insurance won’t be covering the Polyclinic anymore. Before I ask for recommendations for other doctors, has anyone here been able to see Dr. Hatfield without insurance coverage? I have no idea how that sort of arrangement works, or how much more expensive it would be than insurance-covered care. My son really likes Dr. Hatfield and would like to find a way to keep seeing him.
