State Representative Brad Klipert (Republican, 8th Legislative District) has proposed the following bill: https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2201&Initiative=false&Year=2019 entitled ‘Ensuring equitable competition between students who participate in school athletic activities’ – in which he seeks to forbid the participation of any student who was assigned male at birth in competition with and against female students in activities that are individual competition sports and are intended for female students.
