We had a great discussion today about sharing with family and friends about our child’s medical transition. It made me realize that I share with those I trust about my son being on puberty blockers and his testosterone shots. But I do not share with friends or family who aren’t fully on board. For example, my mom – who uses my son’s name & pronouns – doesn’t know that Matt is getting T shots. I feel like telling her would invite questions and comments that I don’t have the energy to deal with. @Karen Radcliff
How about you?
