Is this a tween trans thing: trouble eating edition

Are eating disorders more common for trans tweens than for other tweens? The wanting to be more masculine and wanting to be more angular seem to be related over here.
My twelve year old’s therapist has been very helpful. But still – even the thought of a serious eating disorder makes me want to throw out all the mirrors and move us all into my mom’s house. Full panic.
I was hoping that boys wouldn’t care about weight?? No experience with boys, trans or otherwise. Please advise.
