Meeting with principal?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>My daughter will be starting kindergarten in the fall.  We have legally changed her name and gender marker in her birth certificate. We do want to meet with the principal though before school starts to just let them know that she’s transgender and make sure the teachers/staff have training.  When is the best time to meet them? Should we schedule this now, while we are registering her? Should we wait closer to the start of the school year?  How have other families done this?</p>
