    I meant to post this earlier, but life got lifelike.  In the March 19, 2018 issue there’s a very interesting essay (“A Story of a Face” by Rebecca Mead) on facial feminization surgery.  It’s written for a general readership (rather than a medical audience), and like most New Yorker work, is clearly researched and very well written.  Alas, I cannot find it on their website, but it’s worth looking for.
