    Hello,

I am wanting to know any success and disaster stories about how schools are addressing the needs of trans and nonbinary students. While K-12 kids are engaged in virtual school (or socially-distancing within schools), how are things going? I’m looking for details or stories related to honoring names and pronouns, engagement in virtual classrooms, ensuring that students needs are addressed, privacy concerns, how PE credits are being addressed, really anything where gender is or could be a factor.

Also, how are your gender diverse children dealing with virtual or social distance school? Is the pressure off? Has it increased? How are your children coping? Anything that you think might be remotely related to your child’s gender and their schooling during this time will be helpful.

As someone who regularly advises schools, I am in need of learning myself! While it is not my first rodeo, it is my first pandemic! (Hopefully my last?)

    with gratitude,

    Aidan Key
