Ok, I’ll start. My daughter came out to us when she was 20. She’s 24 now, and we’ve been working our way through the list of stuff to change. We found the National Center for Transgender Equity website really helpful with fundamental information about different state requirements and logistics. I’ve been participating in the Gender Diversity listserv for quite awhile, and “how do we change our child’s documents” has been a recurring topic, so let’s try to collect the best practices here.
