Safe countries in Asia?

Hello,

 

My family is looking to relocate to another country for a few years.  Both my husband and I are teachers, and we’ve previously lived and taught in Korea, where my oldest (trans)daughter was born.  Amongst Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Korea, Korea is at the top of the list because of the convenience of life amongst other things (cost of living, in-laws, experience with the language etc.), but we’re not sure how to navigate that world now that our daughter has socially transitioned.  I know this is a long shot, but have any of you lived abroad with your children post-transition?
