Seeking advice: Questions for gender-affirming doctor at first visit (8 y.o kid)

Hi there,

I have an 8-year-old transgender girl, and we have our very first appointment tomorrow with Dr. Hatfield of the Polyclinic in Seattle. I’m wondering if anyone can offer advice on good questions to ask/things to bring up at our initial visit? I will definitely be asking about puberty blockers and first signs of puberty to look for (so far there are none that I can tell). My mind is otherwise drawing a blank, and I want to feel well- prepared going into our first appointment. I would appreciate any insight from those of you who have already been seeing a doc for transgender care.
