state bills seeking to limit trans rights

Alabama, Montana and Tennessee have each introduced legislation that would limit rights for transgender folks. Alabama is seeking keep anyone under age 19 from receiving any gender-affirming medical care (including puberty blockers). Montana would like to keep people from changing the gender marker on their birth certificate. And Tennessee wants to keep middle and high school transgender students from participating in sports based on their gender identity.

This is all state-specific legislation. If you have family or friends in any of these states, please consider contacting them and asking them to speak up to their own legislators.
