My husband and I have been very supportive of our son transition since coming out only a year ago, but my husband has only one condition and that is he doesn’t want our son to go under the knife .
Our son wants to get top surgery and it is his decision since he is 18, but he hasn’t thought about how he is going to pay for it if insurance denies our pre-authorization. He doesn’t have a job due to autism and social anxiety.
I’m not sure how I feel about this whole surgery thing yet. Everything seems to be going really fast. I can’t breathe in order to process everything. I would like to deal with one thing at a time before thinking about something else.
