Swim wear and underwear for young trans boy

My 6 year old trans son is expressing some discomfort with the underwear. We found some hipster (girls) underwear on Amazon. Everything is so gendered at stores. And most boys underwear has the penis hole. Any companies or places to find more loose fitting underwear (size 5T) w/o the penis hole?
We are starting swim lessons: any recommendations to find swim trunks w/o liners? And does the liner bother your trans boy kiddos? And how have you explained the liner? I guess we could also just get regular shorts but then also worried it will get uncomfortable and rise up the vulva…and double with underwear, I just don’t know and this is so new. And I want to provide options that makes him feel good.
