UW lecture series on gender

For people in the Seattle area, the University of Washington Alumni organization sponsors a number of lectures during the year — this coming January they’re running a series on gender, through the history department.  There’s something about Joan of Arc, 18th century Russia, Mughal India, and “Women of the 60s.”  They’re not overly academic — if you’re looking for something to do with your brain in January, this might be a good choice.
